Next2Sun Citizens' Participation Agri-PV Epfendorf
The Agri-Solarpark Epfendorf, a pioneering project by Next2Sun Asset GmbH, presents itself with impressive details: the generator output amounts to almost 3,400 kWp, the distance between the rows of modules is 10 metres for optimum agricultural cultivation. The specific yield expectation is 1,150 kWh per installed kWp. The project is based on the concept of the vertical, bifacial agrivoltaic system, supplemented by an electricity storage system. The grid connection is located around 1 km west of the construction site in the industrial estate, close to the operator’s reserved grid transfer station. Construction is already well advanced and commissioning is planned for Q1 2024.
The following conditions apply to citizen participation in the Agri-Solarpark Epfendorf: The minimum investment amount is €500.00, while the maximum amount is limited to €25,000. The loan has a term of 7 years and is offered with an attractive interest rate of 4.5 % p.a.. In addition, local investors in the postcode area D-78736 Epfendorf benefit from a regional bonus of 1.5 % p.a.*.
Next2Sun Citizens' Participation Agri Solarpark Löffingen
Together with the farmer Wolfram Wiggert from Löffingen, Next2Sun has developed an agri-PV plant with a capacity of approx. 3.5 megawatts on an area of just under 12 hectares – the annual amount of electricity thus produced is sufficient for more than 1,000 households, while more than 90% of the agricultural production on this area is still possible.
Next2Sun and Wolfram Wiggert offer the opportunity to participate in this project with investment amounts of 500 to 25,000 EUR and to earn attractive returns: The qualified subordinated loans with a minimum term of 8 years offer an attractive interest rate of 4.5% p.a. – residents of Löffingen even receive 6% p.a. with a local bonus of 1.5%! This is possible not least because the project was awarded an attractive feed-in market premium from the EEG innovation tender for agri-photovoltaics in April 2022, which ensures a high level of profitability for the project.*
