Next2Sun Citizen participation Agri-PV Krauscha
In Neißeaue, the easternmost municipality in Germany, in the district of Görlitz (Saxony), the first privately owned large-scale vertical agrivoltaic plant in eastern Germany is being built. The first construction phase (innovation section) will begin in 2024. The 10.5 m wide spaces between the rows will continue to be used for organic farming with a focus on seed propagation. The project was awarded the contract in the Federal Network Agency’s innovation tender in April 2022 and will therefore receive a fixed market premium for 1.5 MW of generator capacity. A 500 kW storage system will also be added to the system. This improves the already very good grid serviceability of the system.

The improved legal framework for agri-photovoltaics (agri-PV), growing awareness and the generally high demand for renewable energies mean that we, as a pioneering company, are experiencing high demand and great growth potential.
Following the successful share issue of Next2Sun AG and the associated strengthening of equity, Next2Sun Technology GmbH is now launching growth financing specifically for the plant construction segment.
The new crowdinvesting serves to equip and expand Next2Sun Technology GmbH as a realization partner for upcoming projects.
The aim here is to have sufficient funds available for the necessary procurement volumes, but also to have sufficient personnel for the implementation.
In addition, further investments are to be made in vertical bifacial plant technology in order to maintain and expand the Next2Sun Group’s technological leadership*.
